Fund Administrator

We are looking for a motivated Fund Administrator to join our Fund Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of investment funds and related entities, ensuring efficient service delivery, regulatory compliance, and excellent client support.

Responsibilities

  • Administer a portfolio of investment funds, SPVs, and Global Business entities.
  • Assist in the establishment and ongoing administration of open-ended and closed-ended investment funds.
  • Prepare board packs, board minutes, written resolutions, and other corporate secretarial documents.
  • Coordinate board and shareholder meetings and maintain statutory records.
  • Process investor subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, capital calls, and distributions.
  • Maintain investor registers, share registers, and capital account records.
  • Prepare and process payment instructions in accordance with internal controls and client instructions.
  • Perform KYC/AML and customer due diligence checks on investors and counterparties.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, investment managers, custodians, legal advisers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Assist with the preparation of investor reporting, management accounts, and NAV-related documentation alongside the Fund Accounting team.
  • Ensure statutory and regulatory filings are completed accurately and within prescribed deadlines.
  • Respond promptly to client queries while maintaining a high standard of client service.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, AML/CFT requirements, and Financial Services Commission (FSC) regulations.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, Management or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CGI/ICSA or equivalent), completed or in progress, is an advantage.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Fund Administration within a Management Company in Mauritius.
  • Good understanding of fund structures, corporate administration, and company secretarial practices.
  • Knowledge of the Companies Act, Financial Services Act, Securities Act, and AML/CFT regulations.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of fund administration software is an advantage
