Purpose of the Role
The person occupying the position of Client Services Team Leader/Assistant Manager shall be responsible for the daily operations of the corporate and Trust administration team. He/she shall have clear leadership to manage a high performing team of administrators and accountants. He/she shall be customer focused, with excellent communication skills and the ability to operate successfully under pressure.
Core Accountabilities
▪ Lead a portfolio of companies and trusts whilst maintaining and developing relationships with clients and third parties ensuring that all business is conducted in accordance with guidelines and expectations of the local regulator.
▪ Implement updated procedures which are in line with company strategy and relevant laws.
▪ Be in charge of company secretarial administration.
▪ Providing support to team members in the client administration team, including the supervision and delegation of day-to-day work.
▪ Establish, develop and maintain first class business relationship with clients.
▪ Provide specialist support and advice on clients’ queries and requirements.
▪ Monitor invoicing, billing of clients and debt collection.
▪ Liaising on an ongoing basis with international service providers including banks, audit and legal firms and investment and wealth management institutions.
▪ Motivate and lead the team.
▪ Generate regular reports to Management.
▪ Handle client complaints with legal assistance.
▪ Ensure general compliance with legislation.
▪ Ensure new internal processes and procedures are adhered to.
▪ Attend to any other cognate duties as and when necessary
Supervisory Responsibilities
▪ The role holder will understand the importance of mentoring and coaching employees. He/she will show enthusiasm for training team members to improve and develop new skills.
▪ He/she will consistently demonstrate work ethics and values and conduct duties of the position with truth, sincerity, and fairness.
▪ Ensure that the team comply with the internal & industry’s code of ethics, internal rules and regulations, internal procedures and general compliance guidelines.
Key Clients (Internal & External)
▪ The Client Services Team Leader/Assistant Manager shall ensure that clients are provided with the best quality service and all requests from clients are attended in a timely manner within 24 hours.
▪ The role holder will effectively interface with all departments/business units.
▪ Develop and maintain first class business relationship with clients.

▪ The role holder will demonstrate first class client service delivering against the needs and demands of management and clients.
▪ Professional communication and stakeholder management skills borne out by the ability to grow and maintain effective internal relationships is also essential.
▪ He/she will have a thorough understanding of client servicing and related matters.
PROFESSIONAL / TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
▪ Proven experience in formation and administration of companies of at least 7 years.
▪ Thorough understanding of the Mauritian Companies Act 2001.
MANAGERIAL / LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
▪ The role holder shall be able to take quick business decisions and work under minimum supervision.
▪ He/she shall be able to inspire and help his/her subordinates while empowering them to attain business objectives.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
▪ It is essential the role holder is flexible and professional when working under time driven pressures and tight deadlines.
▪ The role holder will be success driven and result oriented and will continually seek and drive improvements.
▪ He/she will be self-confident and possess a strong outgoing personality.
▪ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
The role holder is likely to be a degree holder in law/management field or ICSA qualified with preferably a Master degree in business administration or financial services or ACCA qualified.
Language Skills
The role holder will have an excellent command of English language with strong written and verbal skills. Fluency in other languages, especially French, are desirable
